UNDERSTANDING MAN AND WOMAN IN MARRIAGE – allegory

 

To help and enhance understanding of each other, it is important that the allegory of man having a king and a baby personality inside him and a woman having a queen and a baby personality inside her should be considered and understood. These personalities manifest from time to time and one has to know which personality is manifesting in order to know how to relate with them well.

(a)    KING AND BABY PERSONALITY – MAN

Using this allegory shall help partners about how to relate to each other according to the personality that is dominating or manifesting at a time. When the king personality is manifesting one has to look at what a king needs in order to relate well with the man. Similarly when a baby personality is manifesting in a man one does not need to mockingly tell the man, “Why do you speak or behave like a baby?”

KING (needs): Respect, praises, recognition, attention, dependence, diplomacy

A king needs respect, praises when they are due, recognition, attention, dependence and diplomacy. These guide how to relate to the man when the king in him is manifesting and also even when it is not dominating.

BABY (needs): training, gentleness, love, pamper (coddle)

A baby needs gentleness, tenderness, love, pampering and training. When the baby personality is dominating the partner should know how to relate and ensure she treats him according to the baby personality instead of mocking him as to why he is acting like a baby. A man will speak or act like a baby when this personality is dominating or manifesting when requiring this baby attention from his partner.

 

(b)   QUEEN AND BABY PERSONALITY – WOMAN

Similarly the woman also has the queen and baby personalities in them and this should guide her partner how to relate with her when each personality is dominating.

QUEEN (needs): Respect, praises, recognition, attention

The queen in the woman needs respect, praises when due, recognition and attention. This is similar to what the king personality in the man needs after the queen is married to the king. If the man is treated as king so the woman should also be treated as queen because the two are one flesh. A maid or slave cannot be one flesh with the king.

 

BABY: training, gentleness, love, pamper (coddle)

The baby personality in the woman also needs gentleness, tenderness, love, pampering and love. When this personality is manifesting it is time for the man to be tender, caring, etc to her to meet the needs of the baby personality.
